Today we’re going to quickly go through a few of the best sources to find probate leads.
As you develop relationships with lawyers and attorneys through probate cases, they can become fantastic lead sources. These leads can take a while to come to fruition, but they could ultimately be a great source of long-term leads. Accountants and CPAs that work in trusts are great sources as well.
Sometimes, counties will have fiduciaries, or people who are charged with a high degree of care to handle someone’s assets. They are typically appointed when someone gets very sick when there aren’t family members to help out with their affairs. If that person passes away, a fiduciary will be charged with handling the property.
To me, the best source is going to be right in the courthouse. Probate cases are public record.
